SDMNHC performs complex heart surgery

A cardiology team at SDM Narayana Heart Centre has successfully performed the first implantation of a leadless dual-chamber pacemaker to treat a heart rhythm disorder. The procedure was done to treat a 68-year-old patient experiencing repeated episodes of unconsciousness due to severe bradycardia, a condition where the heart beats abnormally slow.
