See it: Rare Greek coin from 3rd Century BC discovered by 13-year-old in Berlin

A 13-year-old student in Germany discovered an ancient Greek coin in a field in Berlin-Spandau, dating back to between 281 and 261 BC. The bronze coin, weighing about 7 grams, features the goddess Athena on one side and a spear and spindle on the other. It is the first archaeological find from Greek antiquity within the city limits of Berlin-Spandau, shedding light on trade connections between the Baltic Sea region and the Mediterranean.
