Telangana HC refuses interim relief from arrest to Union minister’s son in Pocso case

The Telangana high court has refused to grant interim relief from arrest to the son of a Central minister in a case registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The court declined to pass any immediate protection from arrest while reserving its order on the anticipatory bail petition. A vacation bench of the high court heard the arguments and made it clear that it was not inclined to issue any interim directions at this stage
