Thrissur fireworks unit blast: CM, Opposition leader express condolences

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan directed the government machinery to ensure timely medical care to those injured in a fire and explosion at a fireworks manufacturing unit near Thrissur. Expert doctors from outside the State may be used to provide advanced treatment to burn victims if necessary. A dedicated system has been put in place to monitor and coordinate efforts of various departments, including Police, Fire and Rescue, Health, Revenue and Disaster Management.
