Toyota Builds A Manual Corolla That Regular Buyers Cannot Have

Toyota has introduced a new, affordable version of the Corolla in Japan, designed for driving schools. This version features a traditional gasoline engine and a manual transmission, replacing the previous Corolla Axio. It has a simple exterior with 15-inch steel wheels and basic LED lights, while the interior includes a training panel with a digital speedometer and extra controls for the instructor. The base version uses a 92 cubic inch three-cylinder engine and a six-speed manual transmission, making it the cheapest Corolla in Japan, priced at about $14,000.
