Ugandan and Congolese forces rescue 200 from ISIL-backed ADF

Soldiers rescued civilian captives being held by the Allied Democratic Forces, a group linked with ISIL, in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. The captives were freed after being kidnapped by the group and were in poor health, suffering from untreated illnesses and harsh conditions in captivity. Several ADF fighters were killed and a number of weapons were recovered during the operation.
