West Bengal signs pact with Centre to implement PM-SHRI sheme

The BJP government in West Bengal has signed an agreement with the Centre to implement the PM-SHRI schools scheme in the state. This scheme aims to upgrade existing schools into exemplar ones that showcase the implementation of the National Education Policy. West Bengal and Kerala had initially refused to implement the scheme, but with the change in government, West Bengal has now signed the agreement.
