K. Manivasan to be Tamil Nadu Home Secretary

The Election Commission of India directed the Tamil Nadu government's Chief Secretary to appoint a senior IAS officer as Home Secretary. The incumbent Home Secretary, Dheeraj Kumar, is to be transferred out and will not be appointed to any election-related post until the polls are completed.
