New bridge to be built at Kumbabhishekam fish landing point in Kakinada

A new bridge is proposed to be built across the backwaters of Kumbabhishekam in Kakinada. The bridge will enable traditional fishing boats to venture into the sea from the Kumbabhishekam fish landing point. It will also provide sole access for vehicles transporting goods from Kakinada Deep Sea port and fish from the fish landing point. The existing bridge is in a dilapidated state and is nearly 30 metres long.
