Chaos in Bengal: Chairs, vehicles vandalised near Asansol counting centre

Violence has erupted near the counting centre at Asansol Engineering College in West Bengal, with reports of chairs and vehicles being vandalised. The Election Commission of India is counting votes for the assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has accused the BJP and Election Commission of not releasing trends where TMC is leading, alleging that counting has been stopped at around 100 places.
