Dr Reddy’s Q4 profit falls 86 per cent on weak North America sales

Dr Reddy's Laboratories reported an 86 per cent decline in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 221.3 crore in the fourth quarter due to lower generics sales in North America. The company recorded growth in India and European generics businesses, with revenue in India growing 20 per cent and in Europe growing 14 per cent. Consolidated total revenue from operations stood at Rs 7,546.4 crore, while total expenses rose to Rs 7,826.7 crore.
