Telangana SEEEPC survey, IEWG analysis shows SCs/STs three times more backward than others

A caste backwardness index compiled from the Social, Educational, Employment, Economic and Political Caste Survey highlights disparities across social groups in Telangana. The analysis shows that Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are three times more backward than General Castes, while Backward Classes are 2.7 times more backward. The survey report is now available in the public domain.
