VD Satheesan, 20 minister to take oath as Kerala gets new CM, cabinet today

Kerala's UDF government, led by CM-designate VD Satheesan, will be sworn in with 20 ministers. The new United Democratic Front government will mark a return to power in the southern state after a decade. The UDF swept the recently concluded Kerala assembly polls, winning 102 of the state's 140 seats. The list of ministers was finalised after two days of hectic discussions among alliance leaders, taking into account social and regional balance within the coalition.
